Marlabs BPO

One key element that helps to identify a thriving company is growth. A company that is continuing to reach new goals, increase their influence in the market, and increase the company size is well on their way to success.

Another key element of a thriving company is change. While the old saying “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” is still applicable, it is also important to try new ideas and promote growth.

One way to make room for new ideas and processes is by outsourcing some of the older or more basic processes. While each process is an important part of the business, there are some that could easily be done elsewhere and will free up time and resources for other pursuits.

Marlabs, an IT and business services firm, has developed services in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to help their customers shift different processes offshore.

From the beginning Marlabs walks with their customers through each process to see what could be reasonably outsourced to best benefit the company and meet their needs. Once the outsourced processes are identified they begin the transition process. This includes hiring, determining what technology will be needed, set-up, and training. When everything is set up and ready to go they run a “Pilot” phase. This is to ensure that everything is running smoothly and the needs of the customer are being met. Sometimes the “Pilot” process is run in conjunction with the original process to track the results and make sure that progress is being made. Finally the full process is integrated into the offshore location. Tracking is continued to make sure that results are continuing to be achieved and customers are given access to their own web-based application so that they maintain control and can continue to track results as well.

Outsourcing can be a viable option for any company that wants to continuing growing and changing. Making the transition on your own can be quite challenging; however with an established company to help you, the transition can be much smoother.

Mortgage Broker Training in Pennsylvania

Thanks to the 2008 SAFE Act, or Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act, many mortgage officers around the country are facing stricter guidelines for education and licensing. These requirements are designed to protect consumers from unqualified brokers as well as make it easier for states to identify and prosecute loan officers who engage in fraudulent activities .

Many states, including Pennsylvania, are working with the NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) to toughen their training and licensing standards and participate in the national registry of mortgage loan originators and brokers.

PA brokers are now have to take appropriate Pennsylvania mortgage Broker training to gain or renew their broker license. This training covers not only federal and Pennsylvania mortgage law, but also provides a grounding in subjects such as fair lending, fraud, and ethics. These subjects are considered essential by Pennsylvania banking authorities. Training can be obtained from a variety of training organizations and companies with some offering on demand courses and others relying on more traditional teaching methods.

In addition to completing educational requirements, mortgage officers must submit to background checks, pass state and federal SAFE tests, and meet other qualifications to prove their ability to work with residential loan applicants.

Make Safety a Priority in Your New Pool

Any recreational activity carries a degree of risk to it. Owning a backyard pool means that the risk doesn’t stop when people climb out. Making sure that everyone understands how to safely use the pool and how to secure it against accidents when not in use, should be a top priority.

Many states with high concentrations of pools (think California, Florida, and other warm-climate areas) have laws requiring safety fences to secure pools from stray children. Drowning is the number one or number two cause of death for children under five in these states. In addition to the fence, there needs to be a standing rule that children are never left unattended anywhere near the pool. Not for a minute. Not for a second. This supervision should include making sure children stay in the shallow part of the pool and that inflatable toys are child-safe.

Other obvious pool safety tips include making sure that all toys are used properly and stored safely when not in use. No running near the pool, as the deck may be slippery. Diving is only allowed if the pool is deep enough (your
Houston pool builder will let you know this during the planning of the pool). Nightime swimming should only be allowed if there is adequate lighting. Lastly, keep track of any chemical treatments of the pool water, as some require the pool to go unused for a certain period of time until the chemical dissolves.

Windows Can Be An Important Design Element

Whether you’re building a new home from scratch or planning a major renovation and remodeling , remember to think about the windows. Windows can be so much more than a portal to the outside world. They can be crucial elements in the design of a home, inside as well as outside.

It is important to consider the energy and functional aspects of windows as they will significantly impact utility bills and the future value of a home. However, to stop at those considerations is to miss a great opportunity to elevate home design.

Today both new and replacement windows are available in a wide variety of color combinations. This means that the exterior and interior colors can be different to match both the outside and inside of a home. There are even windows that can match interior woods through staining. Home owners can also choose from many different hardware finishes to further accent a room as well as multiple grille patterns and even various screen types. With so many options available it is very easy for a homeowner to choose the exact custom windows to suit their personal design aesthetic.
