Shrink
This week’s creative prompt is Shrink.
Illustrate the act of shrinking — according to Answers.com, constricted from heat, moisture, or cold; To become reduced in amount or value; dwindle. Or play around with shrink plastic such as Polyshrink. Or come up with your own creative interpretation of this week’s topic.
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage. ![]()
Some artists shrink from self-awareness, fearing that it will destroy their unique gifts and even their desire to create. The truth of the matter is quite opposite. ![]()

Here is my post about on the prompt of “Shrink” at this site. Didn’t think I could come up with anything and then I thought of a current situation and was inspired to take the photo and write a bit and make a poem, too. Thanks. :

when she dreams, it’s as if the sky and sea would shrink and fit into her little room in the attic :-)

Not sure if this quite fits the theme…but thought I’d throw it out there for ‘thought’ anyway.

This was a fun one! I’ve been wanting to try tilt-shift miniature photography, so this inspiration is spot on.

I am trying to “shrink” the amount of possessions in my house, and I am blogging about it here at Marina’s 100 Things Challenge. Right now I have worked on the bathroom a little, so if you click on the bathroom link you’ll find a list of items that must be shrunk to 100 [from 479]!

I’m trying to create illustrations that are up to date with the news. I started with a different idea, but I think this one works.

one side makes you smaller, and the other makes you taller-but which is which? I think I’m not the only one who thought of Alice when reading the word shrink

A little late in the game once again, but I really wanted to do this for this challenge. My contribution is a “shrunken apple head”…only trouble is that it didn’t “shrink” much yet. I’ll update the progress on my blog though the coming week or 2. I hope you enjoy!
