Crayon Art

080515_crayon.jpgThis week’s creative challenge is Crayon Art. Whether you opt for the common child’s wax crayon or some sort of upgraded version, what clever and creative uses do you have for crayons?

This was fun! I made a journal page with acrylics, Caran d’Ache Neocolor II artist’s crayons, and ink. Thanks for reminding me about those crayons that had gotten buried on my shelf!

This idea proves we are all still kids at heart. I had so much fun with this and the inspiration led me to a friend who is running a very “Stinky” contest.

    Enjoy!

I would have loved to break out the crayons again to see what I could do, but ran out of time this week. So, I have something in the archives to share! Is that cheating? LOL!
