Break Time

Hello, creative friends…

Unfortunately, I am not going to post a topic for this week… not to worry, all is well, but I do have some catching up to do and I just need a short break from it. I promise I’ll be back next week revived with fresh new challenges.

In the meantime, here is a short video I found, “Dear Inspiration…”

If you have anything you want to share in the comments — a quote or poem, a link to what you’re working on, a quick blurb of what is inspiring you this week, what music you’re grooving to at the moment, anything at all, please feel free!

peace+joy to you all,

Lately I’ve been inspired by Suziblutube, you can find her videos on Youtube and she also has a blog and livejournal community. She’s fantastic! and her puppy LuLu is too cute!

I always wanted to share my joy of my resent purchase, its a cigar box filled with ephemera of all kinds! I cant wait until it arrives, so I can decorate the box :)

During my ‘break time’ at work today (I get the luxury of working from home) I finished up this painting, which was interpretation of sadness.

I am always inspired by the weekly topics of sites like IMT, IF and Monday Artday. Thought I would share my entry for Monday artday that I finished today:

we should give ourselves a break, i agree. the world seems to just keep gaining weight. or maybe my bones aren’t what they used to be. coincidently, here’s what i just scrapped up before checking over here. i’m just gonna continue to blast some 10,000 Maniacs & look for smelly roses.

Finding inspiration is not always so easy. Sometimes we can find it in movies, music or anything else.
