New Year Resolutions

To start the new year off, let’s be inspired by New Year Resolutions. What do you resolve to do in 2008? If you don’t make resolutions for yourself, perhaps you could illustrate why resolutions aren’t your thing or instead suggest a resolution for someone else, maybe for society or your country.

Hi! I haven’t done resolutions in ages, because…well, I never follow through with them. However, this year I’ve joined my friends in declaring “intentions” for this coming year. We’ll see how I do. Yes, yes, I’ve just substituted one word for another, but perhaps I’ll trick myself into following through with them. ;)

So, if you are interested, you’ll find them here:

    http://debbiewachel-artist.blo.....-2008.html

I also added some “un-intentions” at the end - a couple things that I found can really stifle my creativity at this point in my life. They are not bad things at all…just bad for me at this moment because I use them to paralyze me from doing art. I create my own problems at times. ;)

Have a GREAT New Year Everyone!!!

My goal is to complete our new office project that we designed, remodelled & still needs some work before we can call it a go. It is remodelled on the principals of “Green design” along with solar panels on the roof (to be installed next year). One step at a time for a clean environment will go a long way……….will post more pics in the future

I tried to focus on some new things for 2008….I have a new resolution to try something new…atleast once a month…

This week I finally got to use my new wood burning tool and made a special keepsake box…here is the work in progress..this weekend I may add some colour wash over it and then seal it….here is the link–>

    http://dianaevans.blogspot.com.....-wood.html

the second part of my resolution is to fill that box weekly with little papers where I can write down all the things I am grateful for….

    Have a great week…
    Cheers,
    Diana

In 2008 I’m tuning-in to “being”.and “listening”..and allowing that to guide my “doing”…(or “not” doing). My heart whispers to me…”Believe”…this is my first Guiding Intention on 2008’s journey…and I’ll continue to listen for more… Have a great week!
