  Music, art and movies can be uplifting, inspiring and thought-provoking. Around this time of year, they play the Star Wars films on TV a lot. While they may not be everyone’s cup of tea, the original trilogy has had a huge impact on my life, believe it or not, since i first saw it at the drive in when i was six. Here are some ATCs dedicated to some of my favorite characters from the first film, which were, in a sense, made in tribute and in gratitude to the film. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  Okay – I’m grateful to have found this nifty site and would like to participate. This is my 3rd unsuccessful attempt to “play” … however, I’m new to all of this and guess I need some help. I have no idea how to leave a link within the comments area. I’ve tried leaving a specific link in the URL area, but apparently that didn’t work. So … I’m trying again and hoping this one gets through and/or someone can assist me. Here is the gist of the comments I’ve tried unsuccessfully to leave previously:

  It’s one of 6 posts with a “Gratitude” label published on this Blog, but I’ve left MANY such posts on my other site at Sacred Ruminations (where 13 posts bear the “Gratitude” label), the most recent of which was posted on 11-25-07. Both are Blogger based sites. I’m “newbie” to this virtual world … arriving just about a month ago, but I love everything about it thus far :)

  I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Sorry to be so long-winded, but I really want to participate :)

  Hmmm … there seems to be a “link” this time, so maybe it will work. The post is counting down (as the previous ones did) giving me time to “edit”

  I’ve not encountered this kind of procedure for commenting previously … so I’ll wait again (as before) and see what happens.
