· · · · ·
Alba, please tell us about yourself.
I am a Swedish/Irish artist living in Berlin.

What do you create?
I create mixed media collages based around photos, stories or emotions.
What are your favorite techniques and/or supplies?
Paper, paper, paper - scraps, old books, cardstock, newspapers, photocopies…

Tell us about your creative process.
Normally, I just sit down at the kitchen table, ocver it with supplies (paper, glue, photos, paint, pens, books), switch off my critical thinking and just play with shapes, thoughts, colours.
In what ways do you live artfully?
I live off my art. I see no other defensible way of living. It’s the only thing that truly makes sense.

Do you sell your art? If so, where is it available for purchase?
I am in the process of setting up and Etsy shop… Alba’s Studio
What is your personal motto or mantra?
Fail again. Fail better.

How lovely. I’ve been looking at etsy nearly every day and bookmarking many shops in preparation for opening my own shop. I recognized Alba’s art on the homepage immediately.
