Welcome to Inspire Me Thursday...   A weekly dose of inspiration for
mixed media artists and creative types to nurture their muses and CREATE!

Blogroll

With hundreds of creative blogs out there to captivate and inspire us, it can be very time consuming trying to pin down those blogs that best match your interests. I suggest we make our own blogroll here that includes the URL to your blog, as well as a little blurb about you and what we can expect in a visit to your blog.

No previous participation necessary, please share your blog with us!

I am Carra, a self-taught artist from the northern part of Sweden. I work mostly in acrylics and water colours. I guess you could say that my art is very expressive, as in “coming straight from the heart”. I also make jewelry, which can be found on my blog under the label “Smycken”.

Creativity is extremely important to me! It is what makes me who I am…

I am an artist, writer and teacher. anonyrrie is the place where I share my art, my love of poetry and other literature, and my musings about whatever catches my fancy from time to time. I recently celebrated my two-year blogging anniversary by moving my blog to typepad… I have a different address, but the same credo:

I am an artist, crafter, store owner, and brand-new mom. My blog ranges everything from my daily life, things I’m creating, what we’re selling in our stores, silly stories, deeper thoughts about life in general, as well as crafting tutorials, quotes, links, and lots of photos. Besides my family and home life, my interests range from drawing, painting, crocheting, needle arts, sewing, flea market shopping, cooking, baking, antiquing, reading, watching movies, and more.

*random ramblings of a rather rusty artist*

Mostly I’ll be posting new art I’ve done, which could be anything from collage/mixed media to photography to costume design, anything goes.

I’m also really interested in art therapy at the moment, so I’ll be posting alot of the work I do through that.

I am a fiber artist. More accurately a hand embroidery artist. I talk about my work and my life. I tend to be a little hilariously deep and am always searching for myself at the end of the rainbow. And sometimes I stitch a rainbow!
