In your journal, write quickly for about five minutes without pausing or proofreading. The topic: You. Your life. Your personality. See what comes out on the page when you don’t overthink the exercise.

When five minutes is up (or the page is filled), go back and put emphasis on select words and phrases. Make positive statements bold. Circle or highlight the adjectives that describe you best. There you have it, you — bold and beautiful.
