Wood. Think about the various uses of wood throughout time, both practical and decorative. Consider the symbolism of wood, such as the
wood element in feng shui. Look around and explore wood in your environments, furniture in your home, building structures in your town, trees in nature.
Then think about how you can incorporate wood into your creative process or artwork. Paint a portait on wood. Carve a wood sculpture. Decoupage a wooden box. Or challenge yourself to use wood as a tool or be inspired by the texture or colors of wood.
