Lise, please tell us about yourself.
I am a wife and mom of four beautiful children - they all inspire me. I own a company called Artistic Lifestyling. We are in business to support creative people.
How would you describe your art?
My art is about having fun and not taking things to seriously. I paint outside the lines. I do what I call journaldoodling and create collage art. Many of my collage pieces incorporate photos of family, personal sayings, nicknames and favorite colors or inspirational quotes. I love storybook themes, and create life story journals for my kids.
Who are your favorite artists?
My favorite artist is Valarie Jean Bailey. She creates art quilts. I also love the work of Peg Gignoux and plan to collect her work as well.
Tell us about your creative process.
When I am working on something new, I tend to doodle and journal the ideas as they come to me first. That process may take a short time, or it may be years before I actually set them to canvas. In any case, this has worked well for me.
In what ways do you live artfully?
I have a mission to help people live a more creative life in an artistically designed home. This means that I try to approach each day, and many tasks by thinking - how can I incorporate some creativity here? Where can I discover new art and artists? What new technique can I learn or teach?

What is your personal motto or mantra?
Be excellent, be creative.
Anything else you would like to share about yourself?
Thanks for the opportunity to share - this was fun!
