Tears
There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than 10,000 tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. 
Tears of joy. Tears of sadness. This week, your challenge is to celebrate tears through art. Find inspiration in what brings you to tears. Illustrate the beauty of a tear against flesh. Or challenge yourself to come up with your own interpretation.
Like the cool rain that cleans the air and brings nourishment to flowers, tears are sacred messengers of love.

I hope y’all don’t mind, but I did a second one :) Which was going to be my actual choice for this challenge - but I very nearly chickened out about it, despite my strong feelings behind it. But in the end - I had to paint it!

Hopefully not too late with this. I couldn’t post pictures to blogger last night and a great percentage of my pictures already on my blog had vanished. It was kind of like a nightmare. Wish I could have had tears instead of getting apprehensive.
