The Art We Dwell In
Architecture has always fascinated me. It amazes me how an empty plot of land can turn into an upright structure composed of wood, steel, concrete, glass, brick, aluminum, stone, clay, whatever. I am in awe over the strength and weaknesses of such dwellings. And I just love how in the past architecture wasn’t just about safety, durability and function, but also about beauty and aesthetics. Why has so much of that been lost in modern architecture?
Wishing you a creative week and hoping you find much inspiration in the architecture of the past and present.
peace+joy,
