Abandoned Art
– or –
If you have no abandoned, unfinished art, then your challenge is to be inspired by the word ‘abandon’… interpret as you wish.
[This week's challenge is inspired by Miz Carla who recently posted a piece of art she just finished after finding it abadoned in her art room.]
· · ·
Create a piece of art for this challenge, post it on your blog, then leave your link* in the comments section of this post so we can go check it out.
* To ensure it is easy for us to find your artwork, please provide a link to a static page that will always show your submission, and not your website’s main page.

This is something I decided to make for this prompt. So many things are abandoned for decay.

This is a great prompt, Melanie! It inspired me to not give up on the painting I posted, and it also got my mind wrapping itself around a few other unfinished-paintings-in-waiting.

What a great challenge! I’ve read & enjoyed your blog for a while now, but I just had to participate in this one. It was actually pretty fun to dig through my pile of half-finished items… think I’ll be finishing more of those now!

This is my first post and ironically not the typical art I do, but I think a sewing project counts.

hi. here is my submission for the week.
thank you. :) -
Okay, here is my collage that I started in 2003, and finished in 2006. In 2003, I left it out on display in my home because I liked it, but I did not feel it was ‘done’. in 2006, a call for a juried art show got me to take it out & finish it. I love it now. On my website:
