Some artists have a portable pack of art essentials they carry with them so they can create art when they are on the go. Do you?

If you answered ‘yes’, what supplies do you tote around with you?

* The Moleskine, of course, and
* A set of watercolor crayons
* Two pens (Pitt and a Sakura) that are watercolor-fast
* a Niji Waterbrush or two (usually “medium” and “flat”.)
Any of various sketchbooks, ink pen(s), pencils, small watercolour box/box of coloured pencils/neo colour crayons. Camera. Sometimes gluestick, scissors and snaplock bag of collage materials.
i travel a lot for work, so i have at art bins bag that is usually packed. i have basic mixing colors of goldens paints (i still love claudine hellmuth for her color mixing class), some clear glaze in case i want to mix it. pencils for sketching, some precut images for collage, and a small bag of ephemera. i also have scissors, small tubs of goldens mediums, and diamond glaze (one of the things i can’t live without). often i’ll plan to make atcs and take precut forms, or just take my journal along. i also travel with my camera, and it can be fun to print out images on the cheesy black and white travel printer i use and then incorporate them into art.
My purse: small journal, Uni Ball signo RT Gel 0.38 mm pen, Tombow Monoadhesive, Kodak Easyshare C360 digital camera.
Also, I almost always have my 9″x12″ see-through zipper pouch containing the following: fiberfil-stuffed scrap mini-pillows which I quilt into flat pieces for bigger prjects, DMC pearl-cotton thread in various colors, embroidery needles, and scissors.
I can’t commit to a purse smaller than your average diaper bag!
I have a small flat zip case with clear pockets on either side: Before heading off I add small pieces of card stock to work on, scraps of paper, collage images, fabric images, scrap fabric pieces, trim pieces, glue stick, tacky glue, needle & thread, beads & sequins, watercolor crayons, a couple pots of Twinkling H2Os, a water brush, envelopes & stamps! I always love having my art kit with me while traveling. It keeps me at peace to be able to do some small things, even rememberances of our trip.
I always carry my digital camera with me, together with a small notebook. I am trying to incorporate more of my own photos in my own artwork and some day I hope to get round to making digital collages – by which time I will have a huge library of digital images :-)
this makes me feel so much better, my family gives me grief because I also cannot commit to a purse that cannot hold a notebook for my journal, a plastic case that houses pencil crayons, doublesided tape, scissors and a few pieces of scrapping material and since I’m also shutter bug happy, my digital camera goes most places in there as well…
i’ve got this great canvas bag that i like to fill with paint, matte medium, brushes, plastic cups for water and glue, paper, and bags of scraps of paper for collage.

They’re always with me.
notebook, a series of pens, pencils, and always the gluestick.
Does doing handsewing at work and other places count? ;) I’m so busy lately I have to utilize every moment I can.
A sketchbook, some pens and pencils, a few watercolor pencils, a gluestick, and a tiny set of watercolors.

My Canon S3IS which I use for pics and visual notes.Pen, paper, and I’m always on the lookout for found materials. http://www.flickr.com/photos/josiesoho/377388565/ ;-)
I have a tin of watercolor pencils and a small brush. A small sketchbook and a few pens.
I don’t get much opportunity to use it right now as I’m always chasing my toddler at the moment… but someday I’ll be able to use it more :)
A gluestick is a great idea, degan! I’ll have to add that to mine cache.

I like to have at least a sketchbook and colored pencils. But I’m also on the lookout for found objects at the same time.
