- Use a Magnetic Poetry kit to come up with a short poem or a phrase.
- Or, if you don’t have the kit, there are several online versions available, such as Shocked Poetry and Magnetic Poetry Online.
- Or my personal favorite: Search for words and phrases in an old book. Be quick and spontaneous, cutting them out and pile them together. When you have a small collection, sort through and compose a quick, short poem or story.
