Baby, It’s Cold Outside
It’s a winter wonderland outside (or a @#%$ blizzard, depending on your point of view). This week, let’s take a moment to slow down and reflect upon our wintery surroundings. (Or if you’re not surrounded by a winter splendor, lucky you, you get to use your imagination!) Then pull out the paints and papers and pencils and pay tribute your favorite aspect of winter.

We don’t get a lot of cold around this part of California, but it does rain. My favorite part about winter is the rainy day walks. I enjoy the dark skies and a nice mist in my face; the colorful display of umbrellas and raincoats against the misty atmosphere. I especially love how the sun tries to shine through the clouds casting an orange hue across the land.
